Refunds and returns policy.

Pharmacy law in Canada strictly limits what can be returned. This page explains exactly what we can — and cannot — refund.

Dispensed medications cannot be returned

Under federal and provincial pharmacy regulations, prescription medications that have left the pharmacy cannot be returned to inventory or resold, even if the outer packaging is unopened. This is a public-safety rule that applies to every Canadian pharmacy — not just ours. As a result, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on dispensed Vyvanse for reasons such as change of mind, change of prescriber, or change of dose.

If you have unused or expired Vyvanse, please return it to any Canadian pharmacy for safe disposal. Do not flush it or place it in household trash.

When we will issue a refund

We will issue a full or partial refund in the following situations:

  • Order cancelled before dispensing: If you cancel after payment but before your prescription has been physically dispensed, we issue a full refund to the original payment method.
  • Pharmacist refusal to dispense: If our pharmacist determines we cannot safely or legally dispense your prescription (for example, an invalid prescription, clinical contraindication, or unresolved interaction), we refund any payment in full.
  • Insurance overpayment: If your insurance adjudicates differently than our pre-billing estimate and you have paid too much out of pocket, the difference is refunded automatically within 5–10 business days.
  • Shipping carrier loss confirmed by investigation: If a carrier investigation confirms a package was lost in transit and not delivered, we refund the shipping fee. Replacement of the medication itself requires a new prescription and documented incident report.
  • Manufacturer recall: If Vyvanse you received is subject to a Health Canada recall, follow the recall instructions — we will refund or replace per Takeda’s recall guidance.

What we cannot refund

  • Dispensing fees for prescriptions that were lawfully dispensed.
  • Shipping fees once the package has been picked up by the carrier (unless the carrier confirms loss).
  • Medications damaged after delivery due to improper storage by the patient.
  • Refusals to sign for delivery, resulting in return of the package to us.

How to request a refund

Email sales@buyvyvanseonlinecanada.st with your order number and a brief description of the issue. Our pharmacy manager will respond within two business days and, where applicable, issue the refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

Dispute resolution

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to our provincial College of Pharmacists, which oversees pharmacy practice and consumer complaints. Contact information is provided on our complaints page.
